Hello everyone,
I haven't been active for the past two months or so because I have been extremely busy trying to obtain alternatives on saving up money for a laptop. I have failed to do so, and this is my alternative. I have set up a donation fund from anyone whom is interested or cares.
I really don't want to ask anyone for money, since I should earn this item myself -- but I have tried. I have filled out 20 applications to many different stores, restaurantes, etc. and I received no calls back or anything. I don't quite know what to do anymore. My parents are going through a divorce, so all of their money is going towards that and court cases.
If you have spare change, or anything of that sort. Please send me a penny, 50 cents, a dollar. Anything so maybe it can tally up for me to purchase a laptop for my high school and college studies. My computer that I currently have is dying out, and I need to replace it. So I really don't have much of an option to ask for help from my fellow Newgrounders.
I am seeking to attend the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, and I'm hoping to get accepted and enrolled as I've been getting together a portfolio.
If you send any money, or anything. Please send me a PM, telling me you did with contact information so I can send you something with return gratitude to show that I am thankful for your kind acts.

Paypal is easy to use. All you have to do is sign up on Paypal.com, and than link it to your bank account. After verifying your account, you can send any money transfers from Credit Cards, Bank Accounts etc, to any other paypal accounts.
Thank you so much, and I hope I can save up enough funds to purchase a laptop. I will definitely update all of you on the donation tallies with thank you notes, as well as much more. If this alternative does not work, I may be forced to sell a few belongings that I have.

Update: I have decided to sell a few items of mine. The following items I am currently selling is my old tablet that I had a while back. It broke a while back, and Tom Fulp donated a new one too me. My friend borrowed it and got it refurnished and fixed. The problem was the USB wire chord got messed up, but it's replaced and works perfectly fine.

Thanks rudy! It works perfectly. It doesn't seem to be detecting tilt though, you ever had that work for you? Maybe you were wrong about it having that. W/e... no biggie. Thanks for the great buy and good job MISSING THE EXIT lol.
lmao, I know. I'm so stupid. I hope everything works out for you. I swear it should have tilt 60 degrees. Hm. Look into it or something. I never used that feature, but I'm sure it does have it. yeah man...i know all about needing money to get through school...im doimg it now...lolbut i was lucky enough to find a job at a pharmacy...i make like 500 a week now...lol...i bought a new 32 in flat screen hd...so i got some extra cash to help a fellow newgroundling out...because either we have been there or we are heading there...who knows maybe you will be surprised, the generosity of the people on the internet, who have been in similar situations, and dont like to see people in the same place they once were...good luck to you in your studies, and i will get back at you on friday...or thursday, depends when i get my check...

I would "lend" you some money but saving for a car, Why dont you offer shares of any future winning from completions or something... They have many here and such in other places I guess.

If you attend the University of the Arts, and you are in the College of Art and Design, you must participate in the "Anytime Anywhere Creativity" program. Once you enroll, you order your
Macbook Pro through Uarts and you get that, a 250 external hard drive, and some insurance stuff. You're still kind of paying for it, but i payments, and an 'ISH load of programs.

i've always wandered why parents need lawyers for divorces, can't they split their things evenly or whatever themselves without paying someone to do it.
Yeah, I don't quite know why either. With my parents' situation, my dad wants to take everything away from my mom and just get her for what she's worth. She it's kind of hard since I'm under her roof, and if he brings her down, he is also bringing me down.

If you already have a college picked out, why not get a head-start and run over there asking about a job. They hire only during certain months(usually at the start/end of a term), but it doesn't hurt making friends over there early and you might get lucky what with all the jobs over there.
So far at my University I have done jobs at the Library, Ticket-poll, and even helped setup a concert on campus. (got free backstage passes too.)
Currently, I work at the Computer Labs on campus. Sit on my butt in a nice air-conditioned room...
All I'm saying is, if your job hunting, you will probably have a better chance somewhere on campus. (would be easier too since you won't have far too commute between classes)

As for the Collab, no real rush.
I'm letting people work a little bit past the due date since times are getting crazy for everyone.

If you need some money why don't you make flash game graphics for programmers and get them sponsored. That'll bring in some cash flow, even while you look for other jobs.
A friend of mine is looking for someone to animated his mini games he's working on this summer for cash. Maybe you two could collab together.

Well, I would do that but I haven't really had the time to make animations. I've been really trying to get my portfolio together. Hm. I'll try to run something involving flash soon, and maybe get some cash with ads. Who knows. :/ I'll try though. Thanks for the advice.
Besides in NGADs, the amount of money I have gathered is $7.72. Yes, it helps but it will still take a lot to get to the 50 dollar peak, as well as using it towards funds for my laptop.
